Getting here

Kerry might be tucked into the southwest corner of Ireland, but getting in and out is surprisingly easy. A modern road network and reliable daily train and bus services make access effortless. Kerry County Airport offers flights to and from Dublin, Frankfurt Hahn, Luton, Stansted, Faro, and Alicante. You are just an hour from Cork Airport and Shannon Airport and less than four hours from Dublin Airport.

Houses are certainly cheaper in Kerry than they are in the major urban areas—the average house in Kerry is less than half the price of the equivalent in Dublin! You will also get more than twice the value for the average rental property in Kerry, compared to its counterpart in the capital. Find accommodation in Kerry by searching online or visiting a letting or estate agent. Searching online means you can weigh up your options before you move.

Kids To School

If you have children of school-going age, the county offers 144 primary-level schools and 27 second-level schools. You can find further information on local Kerry schools on the Department of Education website.
