Kerry Business & Jobs Expo

KerrySciTech members will be out in force for the Kerry Business & Jobs EXPO in the INEC Killarney on April 9th 2017. This is a unique opportunity for businesses large and small to champion Kerry as a place to work and live. Companies will be showcasing their businesses to potential employees, as well as learning about government supports in the form of training, advice, and grant aid and supports.

Who Is It For?

With more than 1,000 job vacancies in the county at the moment, the Kerry Business & Jobs EXPO is designed to encourage visitors and migrants to come live and work in Kerry. The event will underline the fact that Kerry is not just a pretty face but also a place where major employers are either recruiting right now or will be in the near future.

Learn about the collaborations and links that are being fostered between commercial business, education, job creation, and the community. If you are an exhibitor, you will discover a platform for B2B and B2C integration, as well as a venue for face-to-face meetings with potential partners and employees.

If you are looking to move to Kerry, you work there already and fancy a change of career, or you are involved in a business considering expansion, the Kerry Business & Jobs EXPO could be for you.

Who Will Be There?

The expo is the brainchild of a group of major Kerry businesses who are collaborating on projects to promote the Kerry region as a business hub. This group is promoting greater cooperation between industry and the general Kerry community, with the aim of selling the attractions of working and living in the Kingdom.

The group includes industry and business leaders such as the following KerrySciTech members:

  • Aspen Grove Solutions
  • Borg Warner
  • Dairymaster
  • Fexco
  • JRI America
  • Tricel

Other participants include sponsors Kerry County Council, the IDA, Enterprise Ireland, and the Local Enterprise Office.

Some 120 businesses exhibited at last year’s Kerry EXPO, and this year’s event promises to be even bigger. The campaign will raise awareness about the EXPO in 2017 and invite those considering moving back to Kerry to come and meet potential employers on April 9th.
