Operational Buyer / Planner
|Min. Leaving Certificate plus a recognised Business /Administration qualification|
|Purchasing experience, component knowledge, SAP or equivalent system knowledge desirable.|
|Data processing skills essential. Demonstrated ability to
work on own initiative essential.
|Knowledge of Excel & E-Mail essential. Excellent numerate skills required.|
|Ability to follow process and update information on SAP,CDB and other systems.|
|Well motivated, approachable individual with very good communication skills.|
|Outgoing flexible characteristics with distinctive ability to work on own initiative and assume responsibility for completing tasks.|
|Excellent attention to detail and high accuracy for data input / analysis.|
Main responsibilities and duties of the job but not limited to:
Support Senior Buyers to carry out various operational tasks and to monitor ongoing
issues, these include the following
Issue RFQ’s, analyse results of RFQ and prepare overview of offers and recommendations.
Creation of sample and series orders with suppliers.
Change to series orders for ECO’s and PCN’s etc.
Updating pricing and other activities on SAP.
Creation and maintenance of sample orders and PPAP orders on SAP.
Creation and maintenance of tooling orders on SAP.
Creation and maintenance of PPAP related workflow on CDB..
Update of Supplier status list.
Generating planned orders and purchase requisition reports, reviewing same and action
Updating pricing and other periodic reporting that will be required.
Review of ECO’s and follow up to ensure timely implementation and change in orders
Review of ECO’s and PCN’s to ensure timely implementation.
Maintain Kostals Vendor rating system and put improvement plans in place if required.
